As the year draws to a close and the Lowveld settles into its familiar rhythm of summer heat, we invite you to pause with us for a moment of reflection and quiet celebration. Our final exhibition of the year, Interlude, opens Saturday, 13 December at 12 noon, offering a considered gathering of artworks that hold space for stillness, transition, and the subtle shifts that mark this time of year.
Presented alongside a selection from Karin Daymond’s recent solo exhibition, Source, our new group exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists whose practices span ceramics, painting, and printmaking: Annelie Janse van Rensburg, Bev de Lange, Bevan de Wet, Braam van Wijk, Carl Jeppe, Elmarie Smuts, Hilary Grant-Currie, Ingrid Uys, Laurel Holmes, Liz Warren, Maria Marais, Rene Eloff, Sue Martin and Wendy Sippel.
Each artist offers a different style and voice, creating a gentle pause to interact with, look closely, and reconnect with the quieter notes of the season.
